Installed Plugins

Plugins are mainly user-contributed add-ons that enhance and extend TWiki features and capabilities. A limited number of plugins are included in the core TWiki distribution - and any of those can be removed - while the rest are optional, available from TWiki:Plugins.PluginPackage.

Here is a list of the plugins currently installed and enabled on this TWiki site:

• SpreadSheetPlugin (any TWiki, 10197): Add spreadsheet calculation like "$SUM( $ABOVE() )" to TWiki tables and other topic text
• AccessStatsPlugin (9 Apr 2007, $Rev: 13328 (09 Apr 2007) $): Provides statistics by parsing access log file, such as Apache access log
• BeautifierPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 14024 (03 Jun 2007) $): Highlights and formats code fragments
• ChartPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 10613 (11 Mar 2007) $): Create PNG or GIF charts to visualize TWiki tables
• CommentPlugin (Dakar, 11359): Allows users to quickly post comments to a page without an edit/preview/save cycle
• EditTablePlugin (any TWiki, 11646): Edit TWiki tables using edit fields, date pickers and drop down boxes
• FileListPlugin (0.8, 12285): Displays a formattable list of topic attachments, anywhere in a topic.
• FlowchartPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 13786 (18 May 2007) $): Bilds a flowchart from information on the topic
• GnuPlotPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 1.0$): Allows users to plot data and functions using GnuPlot
• ImageGalleryPlugin (3.5, 12922): Displays image gallery with auto-generated thumbnails from attachments.
• ImagePlugin (0.4, $Rev: 12310$): Control the display and alignment of images using an easy syntax
• ImgPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 10608$): Allows TWiki variable-style insertion of images in topics
• InterwikiPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 11935$): Link ExternalSite:Page text to external sites based on aliases defined in a rules topic
• LatexModePlugin (3.6, $Rev: 13139$): Enables LaTeX markup (mathematics and more) in TWiki topics
• NewsPlugin (Dakar, 8749): %NEWS% generates a short headlines topic from a list of news
• PreferencesPlugin (Dakar, 9839): Allows editing of preferences using fields predefined in a form
• RemoteFileAttachPlugin (Dakar, 8154): Download and attach remote files to topics.
• RenderListPlugin (any TWiki, 1.034): Render bullet lists in a variety of formats
• SlideShowPlugin (Any TWiki, $Rev: 12847$): Create web based presentations based on topics with headings.
• SmiliesPlugin (Dakar, 8154): Render smilies as icons, like for  :-) or for = :eek:=
• TablePlugin (1.020, 12339): Control attributes of tables and sorting of table columns
• TwistyPlugin (1.2.0, $Rev: 12154$): Twisty section JavaScript library to open/close content dynamically
• WorkflowPlugin (Dakar, $Rev: 0$): Supports work flows associated with topics
• WysiwygPlugin (TWiki-4.2, $Rev: 14680 (31 Aug 2007) $): Translator framework for Wysiwyg editors

Administrators can enable and disable plugins using configure.
