Testbed Configuration
TCP Sender1 and TCP Sender2 send a (high-speed) long-lived flow using iperf to TCP Receiver1 and TCP Receiver2, respectively (1 flow for a pair)
Background Traffic Generators 1-4 send and receive long-lived and short-lived traffic in forward as well as backward direction
- Long-lived flows : IPERF
- Short-lived flows : 1.OUR TRAFFIC GENERATOR (based on SURGE) [1] 2.HARPOON [2] 3.TMIX [3]
Bottleneck Bandwidth is set by the Dunmmynet Router 1 (FreeBSD 5.2.1)
Delay (RTT) is generated by Dummynet Router 2 (FreeBSD 5.2.1)
- RTT Generation sampled from a distribution from a measurement study [4]
- RTT Generation using Uniform Distribution
